What you'll see and do when you get there!
There's nothing like relaxing on the deck after a hard day's fishing with a nice cold beverage of choice and watching the sun go down over the horizon. Put your feet up and chill....
One of the many satisfied customers on the bountiful waters of Laguna Madre and Baffin Bay
Here is one of the many typical reds caught in these waters. The only thing better then catching them is (catching more &) EATING them!
Typical Red
Relaxing after a great day of fishing is so much better when you have a great place to stay. Right on the water where you're fishing!
Real Peace and Quiet!
The greatest stress-buster there is. Relaxing on the deck of your cabin. You can almost smell the buscuits and coffee brewing.
I am an avid Sunset & Sunrise watcher!
Site Fishing the Flats. Early morning, the water's flat as glass and the wind is calm. The perfect time for sightfishing reds. Shhh, there's one now....
Sometimes, it doesn't take skill, just dumb luck! This sow hit my soft plastic bait just as I was surfacing it, not even ten feet from the deck of the floating cabin. It smacked it into the air about 2 feet and swallowed it as it hit the water again, and the fight was on! I didn't even have time to react the first time it hit, I was in shock. Had I reacted to the first strike, I would never have caught her. Just goes to show you, sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
Fishing like this just can't be experienced just anywhere. Get action, day and night, by staying at the cabin and enjoying the hospitality of Captain Dan!
It HAD to be the nails!
Too early for pictures. Nice fish, though!
Nite, night Trout!
That's a proud young man!
Sundown Specs. You just can't beat it!
Try our Kyacks! Stable, quiet, stelth...
While you're there, try Night fishing at the Cabin. The ONLY way to introduce kids Fishing. They can catch hundreds a night!
Get out on the flats, work your way around to the boat or cabin. It's all good....
